WordCamp NYC 2008 is SOLD OUT!

Sun is hosting the first WordCamp NY event in our mid-town office this weekend. And we are sold out - which is great for a Sunday indoor event, in the fall, in NYC
What is WordCamp NY??
WordCamp NY will focus on the actual blogging aspect of WordPress: How to blog, what a professional blogger looks like and how they do it, and more within those boundaries. It will also be about the technology behind WordPress: What WordPress is capable of doing, how scalable it is, and how flexible it is.
Why Sun?
WordPress is a very powerful blogging platform which powers some of the largest blogs out there, such as CNN, NY Times, several government sites, and a number of other high profile blogs. WordPress is written in PHP and uses MySQL as a content and metadata storage engine-- and guess who owns MySQL??
This is our buddy Jonathan Dingman, who is responsible for working with all the sponsors to pull this event together.
