From Sunday, November 9th, through Friday, November 14th, ~2000 Sun Customer Engineers and 200 Sun Partners will gather from across the world at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada for the
Customer Engineering Conference(CEC) 2008.
CEC 2008 will deliver critical training with focused technical tracks and breakout sessions. It will also feature keynotes from Sun executives & engineers, a hands-on demo pavilion, live product launch and networking events specifically designed to provide attendees with the opportunity to meet with colleagues and Sun technology partners.

An essential part of Redshift is the onset of distributed 'mega' data centers operated by a few large-scale service providers.
Day 3 of CEC began with a next generation data center panel which included some of today's key service providers who discussed their data center requirements.

That was a hard act to follow, but the next speaker was certainly up to the task!
Don Grantham, Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Services, closed the event by thanking the 4,000 engineers in attendance for a job well done.
