Last saturday I gave a talk about opensolaris at TcheLinux user group 1st TcheLinux Open Source Seminar at Canoas city. It was a good oportunity to talk about the opensolaris project, since the event wasn't restricted to linux, but to any open source technology.
About 16 students showed up to my talk and even that I wasn't able to make my notebook work with the projector, at the end of the talk part of the audience stayed to watch a little demo.
I distributed about 40 Solaris student handbooks and 50 Solaris Express DVDs that day. The students was interested to learn about opensolaris and it's features and one professor was planning to install solaris in the university laboratories.
