belenix saved the day
While I was working on my new laptop to install Solaris Nevada, something goofed up and was not able to boot the system. Had Windows and SuSE on other two partitions which were also not able to boot as I was not able to see the boot menu. System used to just hang after POST.
Well belenix was great help here. I booted with live CD of Belenix (Solaris live CD). Belenix can detect auto mounts other partitions including Solaris partition. Could do two things.
1) Could debug the Solaris installation for installed packages etc.
2) Could change the active partition using format->partition utility.
By setting the active partition to Win could boot the system atleast.
