Open Work

I have to say that one of the things I'm loving about Sun right now is their Open Work program.  Whilst one of my reasons for joining Sun was the ability to work for a company in the state where I live, it's great to have options that allow me to work from home when I need to and also avoid having another car on the road (plus, as any of my friends will tell you, I hate to drive).

Most days, I carpool with my husband to Sun's Santa Clara campus where I take the free shuttle to my office in Menlo Park.  Only thing I'd really like to see is more shuttle service between Menlo Park and San Francisco (this would be nice for next weeks when I have two meetings in the City on two different days).

I'm planning to make several posts here devoted to my Sun Ray (getting a new one delivered to my home any day).  If you work someplace with Sun Rays you already know why they're excellent.  If not, stay tuned as I document the process of getting my new one set up at home...
