Thursday March 17, 2005 Battle of the Super Hero Project Codenames
Very funny, Microsoft. So, it might be just pure coincidence, but over 3 years ago at Sun we named a project codename "Captain America" (named after the Super Hero from Marvel Comics) for our J2ME CDC/Personal Profile on Pocket PC 2003. And, now Microsoft has named their next PDA software project codename "Magneto" (as in the Super Villian from Marvel Comics X-Men) for their Microsoft Windows Mobile 2005. See: Microsoft Windows Mobile 2005 (Codename: Magneto) How original guys! Just remember that Captain America has a non-ferrous shield. So if Captain America did take on Magneto, Captain America would kick his *ss! :-) He'd just flip his shield at Magneto and it would all be over in 2 hits: Captain America hitting Magneto, and Magneto hitting the ground. |
