Dust? Shock? Vibration? No problem... for this Java ME phone

This new Java ME cell phone from Sanyo (model SCP-7050) can take whatever you throw at it--dust, shock, and vibrations. Or, heck, just throw it around. It can take it. It's got Java ME technology!

See:

Here's a quote:

 In addition, Java MVM allows
 the phone to run multiple
 JAVA applications simultaneously.
The combination of Java MVM and
 location based GPS allows the
 phone to support advanced
 navigation, tracking and
 management applications.
 Applications such as Comet
 Tracker by ActSoft, Gearworks
 etraceĀ®, TeleNav Track, and Xora
 GPS TimeTrack provide GPS
 tracking, job dispatching,
 location-intelligent timecards,
 configurable forms, geofencing,
 and more.
It's got a Multitasking Virtual Machine (MVM). Oooo... Nice! It means it can juggle and chew gum at the same time. Uh, figuratively. Don't try that at home! ;-)
