The 100,000th daily unique visitor
I keep track of Web hits to my blog with sitemeter (click on the number in the upper left of my blog), since 3 years ago when I first started this blog. See: http://blogs.sun.com/hinkmond/date/200406. After 3 full years of blogging, you'd think I'd run out of stuff to say about Java ME technology. Blah, blah, blah. Not quite yet--not until Steve Jobs puts Java ME technology on his freaky little iPhone that is, right? ;-) Anyway, I want to thank all readers of my blog out there, because my blog reached a milestone yesterday: over 100,000 daily unique visitors. (I actually reset my sitemeter count at one time in late 2004, but that's OK). :-) I know sites like Engadget and TechCrunch get much more than 100,000 unique visitors in 1 day, not 3 years, but 100,000 is still 100,000 I figure. See: Thanks to 100,000+ unique Java ME visitors! Anyway, as a prize, I'll give a free hat to the 100,000th unique visitor if you can verify yourself to me. Here are the details of the winner: vodacom.co.za South Africa Cape Town, Western CapeIf you can prove that you were the person above to read my blog on 05Jul2007 @ ~10:30 PM local time, UTC+2 from vodacom.co.za in Cape Town, South Africa, leave a comment here with your e-mail address and I'll contact you offline to get your shipping info to deliver you a free Java ME Mobile & Embedded Community baseball cap. Congratulations! |
