Using Java ME technology for the greater good

If you think that Java ME technology is used for just fun and games on cell phones, think again. The UN Foundation has released a report on how Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) use cell phones and Java ME technology to help with social activism around the world.

Here's a quote:

That's very noble. You don't see much of other technologies with this type of reach and ability to effect the world we live in.
