Apple's WWDC still a measly one third the size of JavaOne conference

The Apple World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) sadly can only draw about 5,000 attendees--and that would be a record for them, especially with developers wanting to port Java ME technology to their iPhone and iPod Touch.

See:

Apple's WWDC secretly wishes it could be like JavaOne

Here's a quote:

Adobe and Sun have also been feverishly
working out how to port their Flash and
Java ME platforms to the iPhone,
apparently without much help from Apple.
So, I got an idea: If Apple opened up the iPhone with a Java ME port, they would probably get about double amount of people attending their WWDC. Wouldn't that be nice? :-)
