GetJar: 3rd annual mobile awards and Java ME tech's answer to AppStore

Yeah, the iPhone iPhreak fanboys have their AppStore. That's nice. But, getjar.com has been around since 2004 as an awesome AppStore for Jave ME apps for cell phones for 4+ years. They recently announced their 3rd annual Mobile Award winners.

Notice how all three Mobile Award winners have Java ME versions. And, notice the winners are not 1990s-style graphics-based games. Some people mistakenly think Java ME technology is just for antiquated games. Bzzzt! Wrong! It's hard to get through some people's skulls that Java ME technology has had getjar.com as its own AppStore delivering to 18 million visitors per month. And, not just games! iPhone is the also-ran in this case.
