New J2ME cell phones will be coming out soon with 512MB direct Flash memory on the device with the next generation Flash memory chips from Spansion, like they plan for the new SAGEM myX-8 phones for Europe. See: SAGEM's Java MIDP 2.0 phone with 512MB Flash memory A good way to utilize that amount of memory is to use the next generation of J2ME: CDC Technology as the platform which is more feature-rich, but requires some more footprint. Or, heck, put 150 MP3 songs on it! Do what you want. ;-) |
