Beep-beep, get the h*ll outta my way-I've got Java ME technology!

Toot-toot, ah, beep-beep. Here's a Java ME app from traffic.com and Skyward Mobile that lets you see the traffic from your cell phone.

Here's a quote:

 The premium downloadable subscription-
 based J2ME solution provides an
 intuitive, quick-to-respond, rich
 graphic interface for user selection
of cities and roads. Real-time traffic
conditions are delivered by text and
 graphics and by JamCast dynamically
 generated traffic news, with fully
automated audio and video of live
 traffic conditions for roadways.
Here's a Java ME app that uses the MIDP GUI to its best advantage making it "intuitive" and "rich". No need to wait for new graphics toolkits or JSRs/APIs that promise to do everything on cell phones. You can do cool things with rich GUIs on Java ME platform today (as evidence by the Java ME programmers who know what they're doing like Skyward Mobile). Drop it like it's hot, baby. Toot-toot!
