Blue Skies ahead for Java ME technology

Blue Sky Positioning launched a new complete GPS location system (with antenna!), that can fit inside a cell phone SIM card.

Here's a quote:

 (enabling Java applications to 
 talk to the SIM), or those 
 using open operating systems 
 such as Windows Mobile and 
 Symbian [feh!], could support 
 the full mapping, location, 
 and  route-planning 
 capabilities already familiar 
 in dedicated GPS devices.
That's quite an engineering feat to squish (technical term) all the electronics down into a space so small, and draw only 6 milliamps! Heck, my watch draws more current!
