J2ME technology related JSRs: 248 & 249 are in the news. Sun Microsystems, Nokia, Orange, Sony-Ericsson and Vodafone among some technology providers, cell manufacturers and wireless operators pushing a new open and unified standard mobile architecture for Java technology.
