Everybody buys Java ME technology high tech startups

AT&T announced today that they are buying Plusmo, Inc. a high tech startup that has been creating Mobile Widgets on platforms such as Java ME technology.

 AT&T announced today that they 
 will be acquiring Plusmo, a 
 mobile applications company 
 that receives about 100 million 
 monthly pageviews. The company 
 makes mobile applications for 
 the iPhone, Google Android, 
 BlackBerry, Nokia, Java/J2ME, 
 and Windows Mobile. Plusmo will 
 become a subsidiary of AT&T 
 Interactive.
It's that whole multi-platform coverage (including the most important high-volume Java ME platform, that gets the attention of the mobile industry nowadays. None of this single platform narrow-mindedness. You gotta think big--think multi-platform! And maybe your startup will get bought out...
