Flash Lite and Java ME, like Clinton & Obama
|
Roger Y. sent me a pointer to the recent news that Sony Ericsson is creating an unholy alliance between Flash Lite and Java ME (see: Franken-mobile-technology). Pshaw! Who needs that when you can already run Flash-like UIs on your Java ME cell phone using TWUIK? See: Who needs Flash Lite when you have Java ME and TWUIK? Now that's cool. And, all you need is Java ME technology on your phone. No need for any unholy alliance! :-) |

That's cool. But there are a lot more videos of apps running on TWUIK here - http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=mobiko

Hi li mika,
Thanks for the link! TWUIK does show the power of doing flashy, fun and fast graphics with plain old Java ME on cell phones. It's good, since that's the most common platform for mobile devices around and what developers should be using right now.

Do you know what platform TWUIK runs best on? Youtube.

That's a silly comment. :) TWUIK is a commercial application, so it's true some developers take issue that it is not free from cost to download to use on any device.
