Getting the perspective of prospective J2ME 3-D graphics models

Binary Graffitti has a J2ME game that uses 3-D isometric graphics. It's the 3-D view of being up and to the corner of the game action.

See:

It's an old technique in PC and console gaming, but pretty cool to see that in the mobile version of Java technology. Java Just-In-Time compilers and Java acceleration on cell phones is really catching on nicely. I always have problems moving around in that type of view (3-D isometric) though. You aren't moving up, down, left, and right, but instead, diagonally up/left, up/right, down/left, and down/right. Eh, who cares, right? As long as it's fun to play! :-P :-)
