Go with your gut instinct: New Java ME powered Samsung Instinct HD

The fun part of working on Java ME technology is when stuff you work on shows up at electronics stores (both online and at local retailers like Best Buy) where you can see people paying money for the stuff you helped build. In the past, things like the Amazon Kindle & Kindle 2 (Java ME CDC/PBP), Blu-ray disc players (Java ME CDC/PBP), and now the Samsung Instinct HD (Java ME CDC/MIDP).

So when people ask how Java makes money, grab that Kindle/Kindle 2 out of someone's hands, go into someone's living room and hold up that Blu-ray player, and starting Saturday 27Sep2009, grab that Samsung Instinct HD cell phone off the shelf of Best Buy and proclaim, "This! This is how Java makes money!"

Then run like hell because you probably shook loose the anti-theft cable, the alarm is starting to blare like a banshee, and soon that security guard with the crazed look will be coming after you...
