HP's got something hotter than Carly Fiorina at a contentious board meeting
Yeah, yeah. I know. Mark Hurd is the CEO of HP now, not Carly. It doesn't matter much because HP has a new lineup of Java ME technology capable cell phones. They will launch the new iPAQ 914 and 614. See: Here's a quote: The HP iPAQ 914 (pictured above) will be pulling duty as the flagship of HP’s reinvigorated handset business - 2.5 inch 240×320 touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera, A-GPS, WiFi b/g, 7.2Mbps HSDPA and Google Maps. Oh, and that spiffy, new Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional OS. Talk about a feature-packed smartphone!Don't forget to put on the most important feature: a free Java ME stack from the phoneME Advanced project (in MR2 dev b34: CDC/MIDP for Windows Mobile 6.0). |
