iPhone alternatives use Java ME technology

A colleague of mine here at Sun, Craig Tilman, pointed out this news piece from Fox News, how many of today's Java ME technology-enabled devices already are alternatives for what the iPhone tries to do.

Here's a quote:

Selling for as much as $600,
 not everyone can afford the
new iPhone. But here are some
 cheaper alternatives that are
 solid choices, without the
 high price tag.
For $600, you can get a Java ME iPhone alternative listed on the Fox News Web site above, and still have money left over to buy some MP3s at the http://www.napster.com site. But, hey, if you want to throw away your money, that's entirely up to you. :-)
