iPhone developer says, "No mas!"

More signs of the crumbling Apple iPhone empire: Rogue Amoeba's Paul Kafasis said he is throwing in the towel on iPhone app development.

Here's a quote:

 "Rogue Amoeba no longer has any 
 plans for additional iPhone 
 applications, and updates to our 
 existing iPhone applications will 
 likely be rare," said Kafasis. 
 "The iPhone platform had great 
 promise, but that promise is not 
 enough..."
Why get pummeled by the iPhone app approval process when you can upload your Java ME MIDlet directly to getjar.com instead? No lo comprendo...

well, it's pretty funny how it flopped completely in China, after flopping in India and Russia as well, and struggling in Japan.

Google Android on the other hand, seems to be gaining some momentum recently.
