Is most part of Java ME developed in St Petersburg?

Is most part of Java ME technology developed in St Petersburg? Da (Да). Оно поистине! Just try to schedule a conference call meeting in our engineering group: Those of us in Santa Clara, California always need to think 11 hours ahead to plan properly--except during Daylight Saving Time transitions when all h*ll breaks loose and we have no idea what time it is anywhere for a few weeks. ;-)

See:

Java ME development in the Motherland

The fun part of collaboration on Java ME technology with engineers in Russia is that we sometimes have to explain American slang like "touch base" or "in the ballpark" or "whole new ballgame", which sometimes is funny to hear Americans like us in the Santa Clara Sun office try to explain, than the actual term itself.

"What is meant by saying 'this recent Java ME company acquisition makes it "a whole new ballgame"?"

Well, in baseball, let's say we're the San Francisco Giants, and there's this team for sale called the Boston Red Sox... :-)
