Klitschko Boxing: be a Java ME tech-enabled pugilist

Did you ever want to become a pugilist? How about a Java ME tech-enabled pugilist? Well, Artificial Life, Inc. lets you turn your Java ME cell phone into a boxing ring, which is fine if you're into jabs, uppercuts, and roundhouses.

Here's a quote:

 Turn your mobile phone into
a boxing ring and let your
 thumbs pack the hardest
 punches! In Klitschko
 Boxing you will train as
 one of the Brothers and
 challenge your opponents to
 fight for the Championship
 Title. Special feature -
 Klitschko vs Klithscko –
 possible ONLY here!
Good way to kill time while standing in line. Blam-blam! Pow! Ka-bluey!

What iPhone fanboys are finding out is that the Apple 2008 Top AppStore downloads for the iPhone and iPod Touch reflect the same thing the Java ME side has known all along: that mobile consumers do like games that are the same as Klitschko Boxing (#1 downloaded types of iPhone AppStore apps are simple games like this).

So, it's more the result of the form factor (small device, less than 1600x1080 pixel screen, standing in line/waiting/riding the train/etc) that makes games like this popular.
