Limos pulling out leaving Google Android in the dust

Here's a blog post from the Tech Observer on how LiMo is launching 7 new Linux cell phones from Motorola, NEC, and Panasonic, making their grand total now 21 cell phones shipping with LiMo's Linux. Google Android's total is still 0. The momentum seems to be swinging in LiMo's favor.

See:

Lots of Limos pulling out

Here's a quote:

Sure the iPhone is all the rage,
and the media keeps hyping the
 Google's android, but the smart
money is on the LiMo phones.

 The LiMo Foundation today announced
 that seven more handsets were
 commercially available-- models from
 Motorola, NEC, and Panasonic.
And, remember that LiMo phones can easily run Java ME technology to run your favorite mobile apps. That's the whole point of programming to the most ubiquitous mobile platform, not to the most vaporific mobile platform.
