Oh the joys of crunchtime: Java ME demos for JavaOne

There is some fun during the JavaOne crunchtime. Setting up all the Java ME demos for the booths and the presentations can be entertaining if you like gadgets and gizmos. I'm in process of taking the phoneME (CDC/Foundation Profile) port to the Nokia N770 from Johannes Eickhold (jonek on the phoneME forums) from the open source and upgrade it to be a Java ME Personal Profile port on the newer Nokia N800 (see photo). Brian Coughlin of Sprint (another phoneME member) will probably love that I'm doing this (especially since all this Java ME software I'm talking about is open source).

See:

Lots of devices are running Java ME technology nowadays. It's pretty cool to see.
