Reason #1337 why you should use Java ME IM over SMS text
Here's a spooky story from the UK, and it's not even Halloween yet. It's an indication that we should all use Java ME Instant Messaging on our cell phones instead of SMS text messaging. There's something unholy about SMS text messaging (without Java ME)... ;-) See: Why you should use Java ME IM, not SMS texting Here's a quote: Jones explained: "Just after Sadie died I came home and I felt like I didn't want to go in the house. I got a missed call on my mobile, but it didn't ring. The call was from my own home number, but there was nobody in the house. Then when I went inside there was a smell like cigarettes which Sadie used to smoke and the smell of her perfume." Jones says his family has since received strange SMS messages which they believe to be from Sadie. He concluded: "She always had a mobile with her. We buried her with her phone. There have been messages with words Sadie would say but there's no number."Oooo... Scary. I know that would freak me out. I wonder if it would make the ghost mad if that man could SMS text message his wife back and ask her to go out to the porch when she wants to smoke. One shouldn't have to be subjected to second hand smoke when being haunted. |
