Sony PS3 - Java ME CDC on every 400,000 Sony Playstation 3 system just sold

When someone asks you to show them a Java ME CDC consumer device to prove its popularity, show them 400,000 units of the Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) game console which completely sold-out over the weekend in the U.S. with people fighting over them like Scientologists fighting over the last cannoli at Tom & Katie's wedding.

See:

Blu-ray Disc (BD) Java on the Sony PS3

Here's a quote:

 The Blu-ray player response is
 very quick. The interviewer
says he felt it’s the fastest
 among Toshiba, Sony, Matsushita
 HD players/recorders he tested.
 Some contents holders say the
speed of BD-Java in the PS3
 is the fastest.
Blu-ray is cool. Blu-ray is fun. Blu-ray is on the Sony Playstation 3. Blu-ray has the "fastest" Java ME CDC stack built into it. Hold on to your seats!

The million dollar question is; How do you develop for PS3 using Java, if you not own a Hollywood studio...
