Stock brokers think or swim using Java ME technology

Stock brokers have to be on the go, go, go. They have to be fast on their toes and move quick. Zip! There goes one now! Zoom! And, another. So, a company called thinkorswim has created thinkMicro, a Java ME technology-enabled app for your cell phone that lets you track stocks in real-time.

See:

Think or Swim with Java ME

Here's a quote:

Powered by the latest J2ME technology,
 thinkMicro allows customers to be
device neutral as well as account-type
 neutral, yet provides access to
 integrated stock, option and futures
 trading on the latest hand-held
 technology.
You gotta move, move, move, see? If you want to be a stock trader, you understand that "Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms... is good." -- Gordon Gecko. (I wonder if he said that speech to Catherine Zeta Jones?)

And if you want your stock monitoring apps to work on a wide range of phones (not just one phone, like the phone that starts with the letter "i") ;-) you choose to program it in Java ME technology.
