Superman vs. Jane Austen with Java ME technology

Read either comic books or literary works with a Java ME app on your cell phone. You choose which. Choose wisely: Batman and Robin, or Brokeback Mountain (some say it's the same story... :-))

According to the article, the idea of Mobile Comics looks like it's a bigger hit in Japan than in the U.S. It might be because manga is big there. Either way, moving comics to Java ME cell phones looks like an interesting idea. Who needs Mobile AJAX when Java ME can do the job?
