We are family, I've got all my Java ME tech-enabled cell phones w/me
Here's an article that talks about the new Pew study that found Java ME tech-enabled cell phones promote more conversations among family members, not less. See: Java ME tech encourages family harmony Here's a quote: The study debunked the theory that technology often creates isolation among family members. In fact, 25% of the respondents said that access to the Internet and cell phones has made their families closer, while only 11% said that such technologies have isolated family members. So, next time you're using a Java ME Instant Messaging MIDlet on your cell phone to chat with your loved one, you know that you are supporting family values, Java ME-style. :-) |

Not a single mention of Java ME in this article. Nice try, though :-)

In the photo, you'll have to note that Java ME has greater than 90% chance being preinstalled on each of the cell phones pictured (oops, don't see any Google Android phones there). Sorry. :-(
So, when a story comes out about cell phone technology, it is mostly talking about Java ME technology.

Haha, your math is impeccable, Hinkmond, that's a good one.
J2ME is still a dying platform, though, but you made me chuckle, thanks.

J2ME is no more. Java ME lives on and JavaFX Mobile (on Java ME) is on deck... I wouldn't count anything out just yet, Aaron...
