Where the heck am I? MapMe, baby!

J2ME MapMe app from Bell Mobility in Canada is one cool app.

You can use your phone to find out where the heck you are, get a map to show you what's around you, then get directions to where you're trying to go.

See:

No more having to stop to ask for directions. But... guys don't do that anyway, right? ;-)

Hey Hinkmond,

Your URL is taking me to the Bell Canada site rather than to a desription of MapME. Is it supposed to do that?

Hi Bruce,

Yes, but the Bell Mobility (Canada) URL I point to should be showing a description of MapMe:

http://www.bell.ca/shop/application/commercewf?origin=noorigin.jsp&event=link(goto)&content=/jsp/content/personal/catalog/wireless/data/mobile_browser/map_me/index.jsp

Hmmm... I think you have to set a cookie with them first before the URL behaves correctly.

Try first clicking here, then click the above link after that.
