Today

I'm in the midst of an interesting activity. John Clingan, a popular Sun blogger, is giving an internal talk to a dispersed group from the Sun US Software practice by teleconference. So, as he talks about the virtues and challenges of blogging, I am writing this little article and linking to his photo. I also just sent him an invititation to connect via LinkedIn.

By the way, John's "Jonathan Ratio," which I defined as the ratio of one blogger's hit count to Jonathan Schwartz's hit count on blogs.sun.com, is currently 29%. The Clingan Zone is currently #13 on the list of Hot Blogs on blogs.sun.com.

This is my little "Participation Age Moment" for today.

My good friend Terry Sigle will speak today at LinuxWorld on the topic of Identity and Web Service Federation in a Linux Environment. A preview interview with Jack Loftus, news writer for SearchOpenSource.com, can be found here.
