Congratulations, Jordin!

The Phoenix Suns couldn't make it past the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA playoffs this year, but Jordin Sparks restored Arizona pride last night when she was crowned the new "American Idol." A Glendale, Arizona, resident, Jordin captured the hearts and imagination of fellow Arizonans across the state with her good looks, great voice and youthful exuberance.

Congratulations, Jordin, for a job well done!

Did she win? I wouldn't know since Fox is lame and couldn't fit the actual crowning of the winner into its bloated two hour show. My TiVo cut out at 10pm.

Kevin: My DVR did the same thing. However, our local news channels played the ending over and over. And yes, she did win. --Mark
