I'm currently on a PoC gig for a high performance directory server and we'll finish it in a couple of days. In upcoming posts I'll share some of the findings and will inidicate what we achieved - performance wise.
But there are many other areas where a decent Directory Service infrastructure (note: not Directory Server!!) helps you to achieve a wide range of goals. These will be further topics in my blog.
Right now, I just want to take the chance to bring the upcoming webinar on Directory Services to your attention. The webinar will take place on the 20. May and covers the following topics:
- How to use save cost by consolidating identity sprawl in your enterprise
- How to meet agressive time-lines on a merger and acquisition
- How to federate faster with virtual directories
This webinar is a good starting point for a broader view of directory services infrastructure capabilities and the add value of such infrastructures.
You can sign up using this link. Even if you are not able to attend, registering will give you access to the replay.
Andreas:
It's great to see you on the list of Sun bloggers! I look forward to reading your posts.
