I went to a baby shower hosted by Maybeimright this weekend and one of her friends brought the best salad I've had in ages. I don't have the official recipe, but it only has four ingredients, so I took a shot at remaking it and it turned out fab. It's Strawberry and Spinach salad and I think you are going to be a fan:

1 bag fresh spinach (not the super! jumbo! costco! size)

1 pint strawberries (washed and sliced)

4 oz. feta (use or skip if you are avoiding dairy)

Girard's Champagne Dressing

Dump the spinach, strawberries, and feta into a bowl. Pour on about 1/4 of the dressing (more or less if you'd like). Mix it up. Enjoy!

Hey folks! I know it's late in the week for a recipe, but I wanted to share this one. And awaaaaaaaaaaaaay we go:[Read More]

So in the States we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving next week. And while there are tons of recipes I could share for the big meal, I thought I'd focus on the breakfast *before* the meal instead. We all know that the person who hosts Thanksgiving is living in the kitchen that day, so why not whip up the easy, yummy, delish Ultimate Coffee Cake instead of going for donuts? It really is super simple and super good. It's from one of my favorite cooks: PAULA DEEN! Just love her so much thought she deserved ALL CAPS. Anywho, here we go:[Read More]

We are back to weekly installments of cooking with Intellichick (formerly cooking with SDNgal). Today I bring you a recipe that is fairly new to me. I sampled it at an "Easy Holiday Entertaining" event at which I was a presenter (my topic was Holiday Centerpieces...that is another blog for another day!). It was delicious and turns out to be super-easy to make. It's Sausage Bites with Balsamic Apricot Dip and I'll be serving it at my next holiday party (and I think you should too!).

Here we go!
