ISA'S PLEA FOR HELP!
Brad and Jen are breaking up! I hope I can pick up the pieces of my shattered life and go on! And if that's not enough "Elektra" is getting terrible reviews from almost everyone! WHO CARES! Not me, my day is still the same.... we've been over this before, wake-up, wake-up Mommy, pee-pee/poo-poo, eat, you know the drill. But, my coworker Jeff is going absolutely berserk, constantly reading the reviews, then reading the reviews to us! I just want him to go see the movie and get it over with! If I haven't mentioned it already, Jeff is Jennifer Garners biggest fan. Actually, we in the office say that if he lived in L.A. he would be a stalker. He lives and breathes "ALIAS", you can't even say the word ALIAS without sending him into a frenzy i.e., my mommy said "nvalias" and he went nuts! I don't really get it, sure Jennifer is cute, but I'm here! I'm sitting right here and all I hear is "Jennifer, Jennifer, Jennifer", I feel like Jan Brady! She was just as pretty as Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, but constantly overlooked! I think it's obvious, I should always be the center of attention! Anyway, I can only hope that next week ratings for ALIAS don't drop, he might go postal and everyone sitting next to him will pay the price! So against my better judgment, and my mommy's, I'd like ask everyone to watch ALIAS next Wednesday @8p.m.CST to keep my mommy and coworkers safe. Nibbles, Isa

Please help!

ISA'S CHRISTMAS LIST
Saturday my Mommy, my sister Lindsay, and I went to the Galleria! I love the Galleria, and I love to people watch, humans are so strange. For instance, we were in Victoria's Secret and this rather large sales lady told my Mommy that the VERY VERY TINY little undies she was holding were her favorite! TOO MUCH INFORMATION! We definitely did not need a visual on that! We were badly shaken after that, but we persevered! One thing that I don't understand is all the hustle and bustle that happens at the mall during this time of the year. I mean, humans are running around with a crazy look in their eyes, trying to hurry hurry hurry and get to that store that has the sale!! They are so focused on “getting there” they don't pay attention to where they are going most of the time which is hard on little girls like me! I have to dodge all the “mall-walkers” to avoid getting stepped on. And I'm just pooped afterwards! We usually like to take a break and sit down and have a drink. I drink my cream straight up, Mommy and Lindsay usually drink theirs with coffee. My favorite store is “Nixon's Top Dog Bakery and Boutique”. They have the coolest stuff for little girls and boys like me! Everything that's on my Christmas wish list can be bought there, i.e., cool leather jackets, sweaters, dishes, treats, beds, travel bags and my favorite a crown! I want a crown, but my Mommy won't buy me a crown because she say's I don't have enough hair on my head to make it stay! Well I'm working on a T3 issue right now and it doesn't look like it's gonna fix itself. Nibbles for Now, Isa

ISA "I'M SO EXCITED"
I'm so excited, I recently received a great comment from a really cool girl, Mati! Mati has been looking for a position at Sun: hacking code or chasing dust bunnies. Those are hot jobs and everyone wants them, but they are really hard to come by. I was really just looking for a position as "crumb scooper" when I was given an EAS position (Emotional Aide & Support). I really thought that it was my dream job because it's easy to make people smile! Then I was promoted to SSE, which might seem like a glamorous job, but it's very taxing. What, with everyone demanding my attention all the time, it can be overwhelming for such a little girl! My work is never done! But I think Mati is a very clever girl and something is bound to turn up. In the mean time, Mati, don't feel bad about your home security job, it may be kind of boring, but it is very important! My brother Sammy has been working home security for several years now, you might say he has a "nose for the business ", he does a great job because not once has our property been infiltrated by the unwanted! His duties are paramount. Without his efforts, we could not sleep peacefully at night. Just knowing that Sammy is there, doing his job, makes me feel warm and safe inside! He patrols the perimeter, observes the neighborhood from his post and he also does other jobs like inspecting the countertops. He takes his job very seriously, and I have no doubt that just his ferocious appearance keeps many would be perpetrators away. Even though home security is a great profession, if it's not truely in Mati's heart and she still wants to seek employment outside of the house, she should! As I mentioned before goals are important, check out my previous blog on the Eleven Words, and it makes me feel special that Mati has shared hers with me! Good Luck Mati! Nibbles for Now, Isa

AN INVITATION FROM ISA!
I wanted to take a moment and step down off my soap box to send a shout out to all my fans! I've appreciated the encouragement that I've received from some of my readers. Okay, so there's been two, besides my Mommy. It warms my heart to know that in this unpredictable world, even a little girl as small as I am can have a voice and be heard. I've noticed many people have dropped by for a visit, but have not taken the time to leave a comment. So, now I would like to extend an invitation for everyone that stops in for a bit to leave a comment or send me an email with your thoughts about life, love and the world of entertainment! I love to chat, especially about celebrities! I've been told I have an opinion on everything! For example, Mommy and I always wonder, why don't people turn their headlights on in bad weather? Really, I mean just because you can see, doesn't mean you can be seen! Or why do they call the fast lane HOV, High Occupancy Vehicle? What's that supposed to mean? Why don't they call it the MOV lane, Multiple Occupancy Vehicle? Now that's clear and it sounds good! (and the acronym spells MOVE!) And speaking of celebrities, why do people care what Mel Gibson thinks about stem cell research? He's not an authority! And why would Jennifer Garner stoop to accepting Jennifer Lopez's leftovers? I guess Ben's kind of cute, although he looks like Scott Peterson, but he has no scruples*. Remember Gigli? So, if you have questions, thoughts, or perhaps need a nibble of advice, I'm all ears! Your voice is also important and I will answer you!

scruples are, that voice in our head that tells us that something we are about to do is not the right thing to do!

ISA ON SOMETHING YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW!
I know that I commonly write about things that some people consider frivolous, some might even say that I am a material girl, but there is a much deeper side to me, Isa. As you know, from my previous entries, I support PETA, I am concerned about Animal Rights and I watch Animal Planet. I have to confess that I did enjoy cuddling up on the new flat animal at my Mommy's friend's house, he was oh sooo soft, but once my Mommy told me he was dead, I felt really bad. That poor Caribou died so that I could roll on his coat! Did I mention how soft he was... how was I to know he was dead! At least he didn't stand in line to die, my Mommy is totally against that! Anyway, my Aunt Teresa sent me this Animal Rescue web site and if you go there right now and click on "FEED AN ANIMAL in NEED," the site's corporate sponsors will donate food for rescued dogs, cats, horses, etc. This costs you nothing. Corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to these animals in exchange for advertising. Not all four legged boys and girls have a warm home and a loving family like Sammy and I and most do not have heiresses or movie stars for Mommies and Daddies, like Tinkerbell, so this is something we can all do right now to help! ISA ON 'MOMMY'S BOYFRIEND'
What is a boyfriend? What purpose does he serve? This one does occasionally throw the ball for Sam and play with me, I like to pounce him when he least expects it, but he doesn't put food in my bowl, a roof over my head or take me for rides in his red corvette. He doesn't even think that four legged boys and girls should come in the house! We think that's crazy! And so does ALL of our friends! Mommy says he has animals in his house, but they aren't like Sam and I. One of them is totally flat and the other ones have their heads coming through the walls. I think that they are very strange, they must be pretty boring, they don't even move around and I'm sure they can't do a cute little belly dance* like me! He likes to hunt a lot, sometimes I have a creepy feeling he's looking at me funny, Sammy said he has the same feeling! So, he is absolutely no good to me, so now I wonder what purpose he serves for Mommy? He's not cuddly like Sam and I. To greet her, he doesn't jump up and down and stick his cold wet nose in her face, Sammy does that, or do the belly dance, like me! Sammy and I don't talk back, we are always ready go do something and we know Mommy is ALWAYS right, except when it comes to bath time! He hasn't even taken her to Paris or Hawaii, like Sammy and I promise we are going to! I'm just not sure why she keeps him around, but I believe that there is some redeeming quality in everyone, so I will keep looking for his... for awhile anyway! Nibbles, Isa

* belly dance A belly dance is when I get so excited that I scoot around on my belly with my back legs pushing me forward and my front legs waving in front of me... it's extremely cute. My Uncle Mikey melts when he sees me do it! BTW, I move so quickly that it's very difficult for my Mommy to take a picture!

ISA ON DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES
Has anyone been watching the TV series "Desperate Housewives"? Well, I have! I just have one question.... where are all the four legged boys and girls? There is so much focus on the pretty lady, Gabrielle, having an affair with that hunky young guy and the other lady, Susan, that can't land that hot neighbor man, they have forgotten to bring out the four legged characters. I can assure you if Susan had a Chihuahua to walk around with she would have her hot neighbor wrapped up like a X-mas package! I would also nip at that tart, Edie's, heels when ever she came around! And if Gabrielle had a Chihuahua she would be so happy that she wouldn't even think about cheating on her husband! If there were boys and girls like Sam and I on the show, we could sneak into Mary Alice's house and find out who Dana was and why Mary Alice killed herself! Sammy and I are excellent spy's, Sammy's code name is Sammy07, I generally work "undercover". Since we are so cute and always indognito, we are never under suspicion, we are welcome in places were the average desperate housewife could not go! OH.. everyone was so up in arms about the MNF opening promo with Nicolette Sheridon in a towel, I don't understand I walk around in just a fur coat all the time... yes, it's real fur, none of that faux stuff for me! Oh, I need to mention that it was Eric that showed my Mommy the website were she ordered my 'eleven words' tee shirt! Thanks Eric! NIBBLES, Isa

ISA ON THE HOLIDAYS!
Hello Everybody! It's been awhile! Can you believe the Holiday's are already here? Sam and I had a great time on Halloween, but I am certainly glad that's over! My Mommy won't let us go 'trick or treating', since I get mobbed by fans and Sammy's wanted by the FBI. Now, it's clicking, you've seen his picture in the Post Office. His crime. you ask? He's a gangster.... GANGSTER OF LOVE!!!! :-) Anyway, we are both really looking forward to Thanksgiving! We always travel to go see family. I really enjoy riding down the rode in my bag, music's up loud so we can sing. Sammy use to drive, but he found it interferes with sticking his nose into the air conditioner vent, plus he's got a lead foot and Mommy's concerned that we might get stopped, he is wanted by the law ya know. Then, once we get there, we get to play in a huge yard and everyone hugs and kisses on us and tells us how cute we are! That's great, but my favorite thing about Thanksgiving is the TURKEY! Sammy starts drooling the minute the turkey goes into the oven and he stays in the kitchen during the entire Thanksgiving dinner preparation! No food stays on the floor for more than a nano-second! I try not to be so obvious, plus if I stay in the kitchen, sit in front of the oven and follow the cooking people around like Sammy does, I'm likely to get stepped on. After all, I am very small! I also like to hear Adam Sandler sing the Turkey song, he has such a nice voice and he really captures the essence of how I feel about Turkey! Well tomorrow we are having a 'pot-luck' Holiday lunch in the office! Yummy, I can hardly wait! I love office parties! Heck, I just love to party! But we will save that for later! ISA ON BRITNEY....
Okay, so Britney Spears got married... or did she? WHO CARES! Does it effect your day? Does it effect my day? No! I still get up in the morning, go pee-pee/poo-poo, eat, play and go back to sleep! I am so tired of hearing about Ms. Spears and her alleged wedding! I think that it's just a ploy to draw attention to her new video, were she sounds like a sick frog... thank god my mommy changed the channel and I didn't have to listen to her! Have you been keeping up on Mr. Jonathan's blogs? I have, he is so wise and insightful, plus, he has a ponytail... I have a tail! I hope to meet him when I go to CEC! Nibbles for Now! Isa

ISA ON THE ELEVEN WORDS!
I am so glad that Jonathan Schwartz wrote the "Eleven Words", because my Mommy got me the tee shirt! I look so cute! I think it's important for a person, as well as a company to have goals! I have goals, for example, not weighing over 6lbs, making it outside BEFORE I boo-boo, getting approximately 17 hours of sleep a day and making sure Mikey gets his nose love ! You can see goals are important. So I commend Mr. Jonathan on his developing the "Eleven Words" because they are clear, concise, to the point, and easy for a tiny girl like me to remember. (Of course, if I ever forget I can always read my tee shirt! :-) May the Schwartz be with you, everyone! Nibbles for Now, Isa

ISA ON MONDAY MORNINGS BLAHS...
I often hear my mommy refer to something called "Monday Morning Blahs." She says that everyone in the office gets them. As I understand it, this is a pretty common malady among the two-legged people. I really don't get what that's all about. I LOVE Mondays! I start the morning off by waking my mommy up for a nice little trip outside, if you know what I mean. Then I eat some breakfast, and possibly take another trip outside (hey, I'm tiny!) Then I see my mommy off to work, then settle in for a long day of napping, and playing with my brother Sammy. Now Fridays, that's other story! That's my busiest day of the week. After the breakfast and trips outside, I hop into my special bag that my mommy bought for me so I could get to work on time (my little legs won't carry me that far!) Then after a quick ride in the car, and a visit to Starbucks for a Caramel Macchiato, we end up at the office where I hop on the elevator and start my day. Every Friday is different, but I'm so integral to the operations in the office, that it's amazing anything gets done Monday through Thursday! My first task is to organize the cds and other media (engineers are so messy!), and then help Jack and Mommy work on DNA so we can log our proactive time. I often have to re-train Jeff on how to use the two-way pagers (when will he learn?!?). Another one of my big tasks is helping Eric and Byron work on the logistics tools. They rely heavily on my expertise. Of course we can't forget helping Rex fix his constant email issues, and then cracking the whip on Nickm to make sure he stays busy! That's a lot for one little girl to get accomplished in a 4 hour period! (Due to chihuahua labor laws, that's all I'm allowed to work right now.) Anyway, as you can see, I have a packed schedule on Fridays. So I'm not impacted by the Monday Morning Blahs like everyone else. I guess it's something I'll never understand. NIBBLES, Isa

ISA ON THE OLYMPICS....
I've been watching the Olympics with my mommy over the last few days. I have to say it's all very interesting, but I haven't seen anything that impresses me all that much. Gymnastics: sure, it's entertaining. But it isn't THAT impressive. Can any of them chase their tail for 5 minutes straight, without stumbling or walking into walls afterward. I doubt it. And don't get me started on the track and field. Pole vault...yeah right. I can jump two to three times my height, straight in the air, without an apparatus. And let's see someone try to run and fetch a stick 100 feet away. Or to catch a ball in their mouth, midair mind you, without dropping the ball and landing on all fours. My brother Sammy, who is deaf and blind in one eye can do both of those things! Yeah, those are real competitions! I do have to say, I have been intrigued by the swimming events...moreso by the tight, low-rise suits the boys are wearing nowadays. (Seriously, how does Michael Phelps keep from losing those trunks?!?) And speaking of Phelps, I do have to say, it is refreshing to see someone on the U.S. team with bigger ears than I have. You would think they would slow him down, but no he seems to beat the competition everytime. Go U.S.! One thing I am curious about, is where is the doggie-paddle event? I'd win that one hands down. ISA ON TINKERBELL'S DISAPPEARANCE...
Reality TV star ("The Simple Life") Tinkerbell the chihuahua has been found! I have to say that is quite a relief, because I know how distraught I would feel wandering the streets of West Hollywood all by my lonesome. I had a tough enough time once when I ventured through a hole in my grandma's fence and was unable to find my way back. Fortunately my mommy found me and I was returned home safe and sound, and my mommy immediately secured the premises. Now there is no word on Tinkerbell's condition, other than she is alive, or on where she was discovered. Let's all keep Tinkerbell in our thoughts and pray for a speedy recovery, should she have experienced any major trauma. I would like to say that I am "apawwed" at Paris Hilton's inability to take care of Tinkerbell. She's filthy rich, and doesn't have to work. And she recently split from boyfriend Nick Carter so there should be nothing distracting her from caring for Tinkerbell, who as of late has been experiencing symptoms of a nervous disorder resulting from Paris' aforementioned romantic entanglement. I am outraged and am considering using my influence as a member of PETA to move that the Chihuaua Protective Services take Tinkerbell into their custody until such time as Paris has undergone investigation as to whether or not she is a fit mother.

Introducing, Isa!
My name is Isa Russell (short for Isabella). I'm just your normal everyday four-legged girl. I've been with Sun now going on two years. It's been two of the best, and only, years of my life. (I won't say how long that is in doggie years, because a lady never reveals her age.) I've made some wonderful friends and colleagues at Sun, and though we've weathered some rough times, it still continues to be the most exciting environment I've ever been in. The most important lesson I've learned at Sun is that change is a part of life, and with change comes new opportunites, and growth. That, and an ESD mat is not the most appropriate place to relieve oneself. (Sorry Rex!) In my spare time, I like to go shopping. My favorite stores are Petco, Petsmart, but I usually have to travel "indognito" because I attract a lot of attention due to the fact that I bear a striking resemblance to Reese Witherspoon (well, mainly the forehead and the slight underbite). I also enjoy movies a great deal. Nothing beats curling up on the couch with with a blanket and box of Nummies, to watch a good romantic comedy. My favorite movie is Legally Blonde (1 not 2...though I knew Bruiser had issues all along. When your mommy dresses you in pink, it's kind of hard to be anything else! ;-) Well, I guess that's enough about me for now. I have to get back to work...that down 15K won't fix itself! Nibbles, Isa
