ISA ON THE OLYMPICS....
I've been watching the Olympics with my mommy over the last few days. I have to say it's all very interesting, but I haven't seen anything that impresses me all that much. Gymnastics: sure, it's entertaining. But it isn't THAT impressive. Can any of them chase their tail for 5 minutes straight, without stumbling or walking into walls afterward. I doubt it. And don't get me started on the track and field. Pole vault...yeah right. I can jump two to three times my height, straight in the air, without an apparatus. And let's see someone try to run and fetch a stick 100 feet away. Or to catch a ball in their mouth, midair mind you, without dropping the ball and landing on all fours. My brother Sammy, who is deaf and blind in one eye can do both of those things! Yeah, those are real competitions! I do have to say, I have been intrigued by the swimming events...moreso by the tight, low-rise suits the boys are wearing nowadays. (Seriously, how does Michael Phelps keep from losing those trunks?!?) And speaking of Phelps, I do have to say, it is refreshing to see someone on the U.S. team with bigger ears than I have. You would think they would slow him down, but no he seems to beat the competition everytime. Go U.S.! One thing I am curious about, is where is the doggie-paddle event? I'd win that one hands down. Nibbles, ISA
