Standard for federated CMDB Within a recent Press-release from the DMTF (Distributed Management Task Force, Inc.) a Standard for CMDBs is presented. It could be found as the introduction and the standard describing document.

It will be interesting to see if and how this standard get embedded within the CMDB and MDR (meta data repository) landscape.
