Thank you, Developer.com!

Developer.com just published their Product of the Year awards, and we did rather well:

Everyone involved put in a lot of work to put these tools together. The teams have done great work and we're all very proud of the results. Thanks everyone! Permalink Comments [3]

Any comments on these? Around these parts we are seeing rewrites and ports from Java to C# as if Java is going to be dead in 12 months.

Congratulations to all those involved! I especially like the '.NET Tool' win, beating the competition on its own turf :)

@Aster: I think the links mentioned are about Java's maturity more than anything else. Java may not be as 'cool' anymore as it used to be, it is by no means dying. Switching to C#, which is far less popular according to your link, would only make sense to me if you work in a strongly Microsoft-dominated environment.

I see integration of C# into Java, actually, sometime in the near future. Although, it could take a little longer than expected. I see things going this path, not the other way around, but I could be mistaken, but I don't think so. Cheers~! :-)
