Horticulture Therapy
For the last five years, I've been talking classes in horticulture, landscape design, and construction at Foothill College. As a part of the program, I do volunteer work of different sorts. Today, I returned to C.A.R. after a long absence. It was therapeutic for me to work in the garden with a group of developmentally disabled adults.

What beautiful smiles you both have!

Janice,
That photo is amazing. It never fails to impress me or surprise me to see people get total enjoyment out of the simplest and everyday treasures that are around us. I work as an educator for a non-credit program. One of the courses that my department offers is called "Changing: One Life at a Time". This course teaches people how to relate to the disable and how to help them move within society and enjoy their lives. I would be honored if you would allow me to utilize the photo in this blog. I would like to use the photo in my up comming course catalog, website and flyers.
