Every year, our Chief Open Source Officer hosts a Sun internal Open Source Summit where we can all share ideas, lessons learned, experiences, and improvements.

Due to limited space, it was by invitation only. That is, you were invited to contribute in some way: give a presentation, lightning talk, chat, or contribute a poster. I decided to contribute a poster of my favorite product, NetBeans, and show my favorite community, TranslatedFiles.

NetBeans TranslatedFiles Community Project Mascot

The eyes show Markus (Swedish), Alexandre (Brazilian Portuguese); the nose is Jiri (Czech); and the mouth is the Brazil team (Bruno, Eduardo, Jefferson, Cicero, Wagner, Henrique, Michel) including NetBeans Community Manager Bruno Souza. Do you think it was creative enough? It could be our new mascot for TranslatedFiles.
