Together with my colleague Vladimir Kotal we wrote a presentation called Simple Solaris Installation for CZOSUG bootcamp summarizing all the necessary installation steps and some important stuff you might probably need after that (network configuration, system services, packages, firewall settings, Live Upgrade, links to other resources, ...). We hope it might be useful for all those who install Solaris/OpenSolaris for the first time.
