Well, I don't really have much to say. I'm giving some thought to my upcoming tech demos on campus, and am researching the Sun technology used in the University curriculum. (I'm also noticing that I reversed two letters in the word University, but neither Meta-b nor Ctrl-b does what I expect it to in Firefox.) Mainly, I'm spending a good deal of time completing the Sun Campus Ambassador training, and looking through the reams of dead tress that I've amassed on my new job. Administrative work isn't anywhere near as much fun as learning about J2ME programming or Zones.
I've been quite prolific in updating my personal blog lately, so I'd encourage you to take a look. Just remember, the opinions expressed here are my own, not those of Sun, and the opinions expressed on my personal blog might not even be my own! They're definitely not related to Sun...
Many people have a ritual in their day. Get up, shower, brush their teeth, make coffee, etc. Mine goes a bit more like the following: 1) get up, put in my contacts 2) Check E-mail 3) Facebook 4) Check the system logs, if I didn't stay up until 04:00 to catch the emails 5) shower, all that boring stuff 6) Google Reader. In the rare case that I have to get out of the house before I can catch up on the 1000+ feeds in my Google Reader account (granted, I usually only pay attention to my "favorite" folder), I sync up the RSS reader in my maemo-based Nokia 770 tablet and take my news on the road. While most of it is technical - news, blogs, the usual - I'm also a die-hard fan of the comics from XKCD.com. Today's is a must-see.
Until I have some meaningful stuff to say, stay Free. Oh, and check out the OpenSolaris operating system, it rocks!
