During this morning's commute I was listening to the Animatrix soundtrack.

It's top-notch.

I've had it for a long time, but every time I listen to it I'm impressed.

I seem to have a bottomless appetite for electronica.  Something about the repetitive beat helps me to concentrate.  I've often wondered if listening to a metronome would have the same effect.  Didn't Morgan Freeman do that in Se7en?

Anyway, if you're looking for some good music, give it a try.

It's been a while since I've posted.  I have a couple of irons in the fire -- training (both Sun an other vendors), learning VirtualBox, and trying to breathe life back into my X2100 so I can start working with the early access bundle of xVM Server.

I'll post instructions soon for setting up a JumpStart server in VirtualBox on a Mac host with a Solaris 10 guest.

More to come...

There's a great fried chicken take-out place in Damascus, MD called Red Rooster.

It's pretty easy to get to, just take Rt. 27 South from I-70.  You can use I-270 as well if you're coming from D.C., but I think it's a tad closer to 70.

It's kind of easy to miss when you're driving on 27; it's right behind a gas station.  Keep a look out for this sign:

The building is quite small, and the lobby where you order is even smaller.

The lady who runs the place is called "Miss Pam" by the high school students who work there.  They seem to like her a lot.  She's quite a character.

The chicken is awesome, and I highly recommend the slaw and onion rings as well.
