Awesome Firefox add-on - Firebug
Playing with this blog's design isn't easy. blogs.sun.com uses Apache Roller. The designs for Roller are split into a general CSS, and templates (pdf). This is a good design, but if you want to do something simple like change your link behavior, you've got to go through the templates, find the div's, and trace out the CSS.
Firebug makes this a lot easier. It lets you browse the CSS, see what divs inherit what, and even change the style-sheet on the fly.
Now I can work on tweaking those last few things about this design that bug me. But I should probably pay attention to the training course I'm in right now, instead.
