The folks over at JFXStudio have started a new coding challenge: "Small is the New Big". This time they are going to try something different. Harkening back to the demo scene of old, this month’s challenge is to build something interesting with a very small amount of code: 30 lines in a single file!.
The challenge starts on September 8th when the secret theme will be revealed, and the last date to send in your entry is September 30th. See the rules for more details.

Sounds awesome. i used to have an Amiga 500 + and i loved those Demos. I'm just a Sun certified Associate right now, but I have a client who needs a "Flash' site. I'm learning JavaFX for this! And I'm looking forward to this coding challenge. At the very least, I am looking forward to see what the experts do with 30 lines of code!

Javafx I hope to have ready-made tree, table components, there is the ability to flexibly the layout, so that the layout can be relatively free to develop a useful procedure.
I would like to put my jsf program into javafx procedures, so that can have a greater coverage, and better operating experience.
Unfortunately, javafx the loading speed is still too slow, then quick like, and load a simple scenario also appears slower.
If we can, like jsf + ajax, as the scene switches a little faster, it is really great, javafx development needs to be accelerated ah.
