The Java CAPS 6 early access site went up last Friday 25th April. It can be found at http://developers.sun.com/javacaps/
There you will be able to find...
- Information on the up comming release of JavaCAPS 6.
- Early versions of the product documentation.
- Screen casts and presentations related to Java CAPO 6
- Tutorials and sample projects.

Dear Holger,
Its great to see so much of change and the knowledge base put in place for JCAPS 6 even before its launch.
And one small question, its been mentioned that the JCAPS 6 is the only SOA product developed as OpenSource. (here!! http://developers.sun.com/docs/javacaps/collaborate/index.jsp)
Does it mean that it will be available for download for educational purposes?

As far as I know (I'm not privy to Sun's future policies) Java CAPS will not itself be made open source, but arms of it will be through Open ESB, Glassfish, Netbeans etc.
For educational purposes, Open ESB is the way to go. Java CAPS 6 Modern (The JBI Side of things) is the direction CAPS is taking, which is based on Open ESB code.
