I have gotten some good feedback on the blog naming entry. I was hoping for more, but I did get 5 users giving feedback. The not-so-anonymous 42 punted or else I would have gotten 6 :) When I joked about 5 readers, I was only joking! Turns out to be true. Lets narrow it down and give me your feedback:

• Uncontainable Exuberance
• The Clingan Zone
• Drinking the Sun Cool-Aid (or should it be Pouring the Sun Cool-Aid? Serving the Sun Cool-Aid? Or simply Cool-Aid?

If you have something better in your mind, batter up.

Gasp. There is so much cool stuff going on (inside Sun and within the greater community) that I am having a hard time managing my time. I really want to participate in today's Sun Developer Network's chat on java.net. No time.

The good news is that I can always come back and check it out. Playing around with Solaris 10 has really put me behind on some of my other endeavors around Java Studio Enterprise 7 beta, NetBeans 4 beta 1, JXTA, etc. . All were demo'd at Java One this year. I really want to play around with the collaboration features of Java Studio Enterprise but collaborating with myself is redundant.

Of course, I have my daily customer responsibilities. All of these sideline activities take a back seat to the customer. What is abnormal is that, due to my Starbucks addiction, I am getting involved with a couple of customers outside of my normal responsibilities. While I do pass responsibility on to the appropriate account management teams, I still see these new Sun customers regularly at the mude hole. I am permanently indirectly involved (and interested) in how their endeavors are going.

One multi-tasking algorithm I use is to play back online recordings while fulfilling my daily responsibilities. 90% of what is playing in the background hits the bit bucket since I am barely paying attention, but occasionally I get that nugget of information. I am wondering if I should record some of this audio on CD and play it back in the car.

Trying to focus me is like trying to zoom in on a target with a disposable camera. Not gonna happen. :)

Speaking of time management, time to go.
