No, not mine. I have a couple of years ahead of me before I get there - although time seems to be accelerating. I have to head off to the 40th birthday party of one of my Starbucks buddies. What are some of the things you have given - or have been given to you? I have an idea, but I'd like to hear your ideas as well.

People can get downright nasty at 40th birthday parties. Of course we are all wearing black. I plan to wrap his present in the Obituaries. I wonder what else can make the evening more enjoyable ...

I did a bit of v880 zone script work this morning. The guts are all done, except for those darn bugs. Missing double-quote character here, misspelled bash parameter there. You know how it goes. It takes about 6 minutes to create a zone on the v880 with a zfs pool of essentially a stripe of 5 72GB mirrors (350GB).

Once I debug the dang sysidcfg, it'll be primed to go (minus mysql and jvm). I am staying with the original plan and run just the web server in each zone. It's all about the lack of time right now :(

Update: The script is off and running ... creating 500 zones, 4 at a time. Once they are installed, I'll start booting them. Admittedly 500 is a bit much, but restraint isn't a characteristic of this test :)
